Hello, fellow lit lovers! With the utmost pleasure, I introduce you to the face behind this wondrous virtual library...me!
At the ripe age of one and twenty (twenty-one for you modern folk), I may be called a spinster in the eighteenth-century Victorian period! Amusing, indeed, but enough with the Jane Austen references.
I'm Cath, your classic books and Earl Grey tea lover who hopes to spend her final hours in a Victorian mansion by the English seaside with my slightly evil cat, Salem. I first found a love for literature in my high school English class, where we discussed Pride and Prejudice. It's cliché but true, but I haven't looked back since I saw Elizabeth and Mr. Darcy's romance!
I'm currently completing a Master of Teaching at the University of Western Australia to become an English teacher, as I aspire to fill young minds with the same passion and love for classic books that I feel through my literary content - because we can learn a lot from those guys about romance, social standing, gender roles and sexuality, even now!
